Quality Assurance 1. Analysis of the contrast agent bolus.

Errors in contrast agent injection might occur, for example, a insufficient or late injection. It is even more important to the detect such errors.
VEOcore contains intelligent algorithms for quality control. Information on contrast bolus, arterial input function and patient movement is automatically analyzed. Automated motion correction is also included.

  • Bolus timing and bolus peak-height for SNR estimation

If metrics are in a critical range, the user can interpret the results accordingly. Moreover, the contrast dose and injection timing can be improved based on this feedback.

Quality Assurance 2. Fast scrolling through the time-series.

Patient movement is a common problem in perfusion imaging. VEOcore includes an effective and robust motion correction algorithm. For quality control, the time series of one representative slice is presented in a scrollable fashion. With this, the initial movement and the performance of the correction can be assessed and considered in interpretation of the results.
